Jami Lewis
This Sunday
Jami Lewis is preaching this Sunday (June 9)! Jami is our Director of Children's Ministry and is no stranger to speaking in worship. She has been leading our Discovery Time for years and we thought it was time to let her speak to the "Big Kids" by doing the sermon. She is going to use the theme for the upcoming Vacation Bible School (which will be set up in the sanctuary) as the theme for her sermon.

Pastor's Book Club- NOT this Sunday!
We had a mix-up on the Pastor's Summer Book Club and published the wrong dates. The correct information is published below. We've sold out of Rob Bell's book but should have more copies by Sunday. Don't worry, we won't be discussing it until September!
Community Memorial services
Sometimes we'll go months without a funeral/memorial service and then there are weeks like this one where we had two! Both of them are from the community where families need a place to grieve, celebrate and remember. As always, our Deacons stepped up big-time to make New Hope a place of welcome. Way to go, Deacons!
VBS
Vacation Bible School starts next week! At this point, we have about 200+ participants so if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place next week, New Hope is NOT that place! We'll commission the Leaders and Volunteers on Sunday and several of them will also participate in worship.
